just when things are looking down.. theres a moment where you discover something you let yourself forget. these are very important moments. everyone should have a moment like this.

the whole concept of people changing and growing is just a wonderful thing and i’m glad it finally happened to me.

its 5:40am and i still can’t sleep. i can’t sleep because when im lying in my bed i feel really alone and sad. so, i’ll stay up and read or listen to music because i like to control what i’m thinking about. tonight i have read half of miranda july’s “no one belongs here more than you do”. it was a christmas present from my mom. i spend an hour making a mix cd tracklist for annagail only to find out my cd drive in my computer jammed and now i can’t burn her cd. that made me upset so i decided to read some more. then my eyes got tired and i thought i would be able to go to sleep, so i turned off my lamp and put away the book and just layed in my bed for 30 minutes and my eyes weren’t tired anymore. the average human can fall asleep in 7 minutes. so here i am diverting my thoughts again.

another new year resolution: have a normal sleep schedule. i can’t keep doing this.

home for the holidays. it doesn’t really feel like christmas to me, probably because i didnt buy any gifts for anyone because i can’t afford it.

there are a lot of things that i’m looking forward to improve about myself in the next year.

- don’t take anything or anyone for granted
- don’t be so lazy
- stop smoking cigarettes
- keep my room clean, as well as the rest of the apartment.
- take more photos, keep a film camera with me at all times.
- most importantly, get a job.
- pay off credit card debt
- be more frugal
- stop feeling so depressed when i’m alone
- read more books
- be honest
- be healthier
- don’t drink so much
- stop being so rude to strangers (terrible character flaw)
- find a companion to take along on trips and movie marathons.

the list could go on and on. this year i’m actually going to work on it.  just watch.
